This hand-painted ostrich egg is inspired by the wildlife of Jordan and features... an illustration of the popular Jordanian insect, Umm Ali. The egg is hand-dotted by Jordanian artisans in the Blue Desert Reserve. These women have been trained by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature to create unique designs on unfertilized ostrich eggs.
