Resin Story

Madleen started working with resin as a hobby until she became interested in the field enough to join online training courses to improve her skills and learn more. Then she started making items and posting them on social media pages. Many people liked and admired her work, so she started making more art and handmade gifts to meet people's needs.

In her own project, Madleen presents a variety of resin items, such as coasters, medals, graduation books, and other works of art that she hopes to make in the future. She uses many different things in her work, like epoxy resin, hardener, a printer, clear stickers in different colors, straighteners, silicone molds, sandpaper, dried flowers for decoration, and colored stones for polishing resin.

To make these products, she first mixes the epoxy and hardener in fixed proportions until they are homogeneous, then pours them into the resin mold after placing it on a flat surface, and finally removes the resin bubbles to reveal the resin's transparency. Resin typically goes through two stages of solidification: the first while in the forming mold, where it is semi-solid, and the second when it comes out in its final form, where it is completely solid. These stages take 24 hours to complete, and the work is more difficult in the winter because it is difficult to control the temperature of the resin.
Madleen, on the other hand, runs into challenges when it comes to marketing her products and getting them into the necessary category, she also has financial problems. Despite this, she always does her work with love, care, and accuracy.
