Nary

During a visit to one of the old Souqs (Markets)  in Jordan, Mr. Mahmoud was inspired by all the beautiful handmade products he saw. Their passion for their crafts and the way they were talking about their products encouraged him to start his own project as well.

Things were not easy for him since he failed several times before being able to make his first successful product.

“Nary” is the name of Mr. Mahmoud’s store, it is a word in Arabic that means “fire” and it describes very well the products offered by the store, as they include decorative pieces and fireplaces made from cement, which Mr.Mahmoud believe, give a sense of warmth and a romantic feel to any place they are put in.

The process of making the cement fireplaces take up to 4 days of hard work that include putting the cement in appropriate molds, waiting for it to dry then polishing and adding the final touches.
