Omar Abdallat

Omar Adnan Al Abdallat is a caricature artist, producer, and speaker at TEDx. Born in London, England in 1978, Omar graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Applied Science. He worked at several graphic design and animation companies such as Rubicon, Abu Mahjoub, and Kharabeesh. He is a partner in the Kharabeesh Network and founder of “Qalam Hurr” Company. He has participated in several exhibitions in Jordan, Egypt, and Belgium, and was awarded several local and international prizes for his caricature work. He has created multiple cartoon characters that gained local and international fame such as “Awad Abu Shiffeh, Al Za’eem, Khuffash, and Muallem Sehs.” While working at Kharabeesh, his channel, Ala Rasi, won the silver prize on Youtube. He was a speaker at Al Jazeera’s eighth summit in Qatar in 2014, TEDx Porto, Portugal 2015, and the Arab Caricature Festival, Belgium, 2016.
