This Sushi plate comes from the SEALINE. The plate was designed to parallel the ocean's waves on a ship's sole.
The plate was thinned and squarely designed to give that resemblance, and was then put on bisque fire to hold form.
Cobalt and Copper's oxides were used then to give the piece its blue-sky and ocean colors. The kiln on high fire then made its last touches to finalize the piece and have it ready for your Sushi.
