She does all this while raising her two children.

Impact of work

What distinguishes Maryam’s work and products, which depend primarily on the art of painting on ceramics, is the long-lasting colors that remain vivid and bright even with the passage of time. Mary’s products are not affected by heat or water, making them ideal not only as beautiful pieces of art, but also as pieces of external or internal decoration. In fact, the ceramics are even suitable for domestic use and commercial enterprise. The various stages of the work involved in the production of colored ceramics starts from the design of the painting, which is then brought to life using silk and paint, which are used to cut the tiles into pieces according to the desired size.

"For me, my work is a big part of my life and gives me positive energy, patience, and understanding of how to deal with my customers. It even gives me the good financial returns that come from it," Maryam says. "Beyond that, many people benefit from my projects directly, including my sister. She is working with me in this field of artistry, and nearly five girls help us when there are big orders.” Maryam also speaks about the wonderful feeling of pride she has, as she fulfills the roles of both a reliable homemaker and a strong and productive woman at the same time.
